Description: "I started playing live music as a guitarist at the age of 15. Many bands and 16 years later, I'm still a part of the local music scene in Morgantown, WV. The bands I formed ranged from industrial metal to acoustic comedy, but I was most well-known locally from the bands 3-Hole Face and Descension Rate. My newest band, Last Level, is a punk/hardcore group dedicated to all things nerdy.

I have always been slightly obsessed with video game music. In high school, I taught myself how to play Dragon Warrior songs on my acoustic, and I started recording video game covers for fun in my early college years. In 2002, local Nintendo hip-hop legends 8bitz asked me to contribute a guitar solo for their E.P. as well as handle some general production duties and lyric consultation. I performed live with 8bitz numerous times, once even filling in for vocals. However, it wasn't until my first official Mega Beardo release, A Mega Man 2 Guitar Tribute, in 2010 that I found myself being a part of the video game music community. Since then, I have released my Castlevania-inspired concept album Belmont (2011), an acoustic EP titled UnMega (2012), and my latest VGM-remix album Ledjent of Zelda (2013). Ledjent of Zelda is the 19th album that I have recorded since 2001."
About the Game: "Secret of Mana is one of the greatest video soundtracks of all time, in my opinion. I didnŐt play the game much growing up; I rented it once, but I was mostly into platformers at that point. Now, I own, play, appreciate, and love every aspect of the game."
